living "the life" has been made easier

It's nothing new that products are often advertised as a more than just the product you see before you but rather the means to a certain "lifestyle".
Well now, with the help of the wonders of virtual reality the a complete lifestyle is what's for sale.
According to an article in New York Magazine, condominiums are creating SimCity-like worlds that, according to your disposition, give you a taste of life in one of their units down to the absurdly minute detail.
They've got not only the apartment for you but one that includes all the other elements that make up what could be
your lifestyle from the magazines on your coffee table to the cereal in your bowl.
Some companies have even "stocked" the virtual closets using real clothing and designer labels to excruciatingly mimic "reality".
“It used to be,” Ruddy says, “a model would show that, yes, you can fit an eight-foot sofa in this room. Now it’s saying, This is who I could be.

So whether your the guy who works in hedge funds and dines at the Spotted Pig or "an Artforum reader with a taste for Egon Schiele", or, more appropriately, want to be one of those guys, they have the apartment for you.

Is forming your own personality too hard? Do questions about your favorite things leave you baffled? Well worry no more. Now with the purchase of any luxury apartment comes a virtual mock up of the lifestyle to match, the fridge to use, the deodorant to wear and much more..
It decides what you want, so you don't have to.

Isn't the future grand?
